Sheldon Himelfarb

Sheldon Himelfarb is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in peacebuilding, technology, and media. Currently serving as Board Chair and Co-Founder of the International Panel on the Information Environment (IPIE), Himelfarb previously founded and held the position of CEO at PeaceTech Lab. During a notable tenure at the United States Institute of Peace, Himelfarb was Associate Vice President and Executive Director of innovative centers focusing on science and technology for peacebuilding, as well as media and conflict resolution. Additional roles include serving as Senior Director at the Corporate Executive Board, President of the Internet Division at Mondial Media, Executive Producer and CEO at Common Ground Productions, and a staff member for Senator Charles Mathias. Himelfarb holds a PhD from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The Johns Hopkins University.
