Marcel Gatto works as an Agricultural Economist at the International Potato Center. Marcel also holds the position of Senior Research Fellow - Affiliation at the University of the Witwatersrand. Marcel has extensive experience in research and project management within the agriculture and development sector, with a focus on impact assessment and innovation in crop varietal data collection. Marcel holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics and has a strong background in development economics and international development. Additionally, Marcel has volunteered in community service initiatives focusing on HIV/AIDS affected children and worked on consultancy projects related to cultural differences in international markets.
