Maria Lupe Roman Horna is currently employed at the International Potato Center as a Phytosanitary and Quarantine Specialist. Prior to this role, Maria Lupe worked as a Consultora en Biotecnología de Plantas at INIA - Instituto Nacional de Innovacion Agraria, and as a Estudiante doctorado-investigador at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. Maria also has experience as an Assistant Researcher at the International Potato Center. Maria Lupe holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.
