Kate Jellema is an experienced professional in nonprofit management and education, currently serving as the Director of Institutional Giving at the International Refugee Assistance Project since November 2019, after previously fulfilling the role of Assistant Director for Institutional Giving. Kate's extensive background includes consulting for organizations and enterprises from January 2019 to March 2021, and a significant tenure at Marlboro College Graduate & Professional Studies from August 2010 to November 2019, where Kate held multiple roles, including Director of the Graduate School and Dean of Graduate & Professional Studies. Kate founded and directed the Center for New Leadership and established the MS in Management: Mission-Driven Organizations program. Additional experience includes project direction for Benchmarks for a Better Vermont and teaching at Marlboro College, focusing on anthropology and cultural studies. Kate holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology and History from the University of Michigan and an MA in Cultural Anthropology from The Johns Hopkins University, among other qualifications.
