Jared Ford

Director, Technology & Democracy at International Republican Institute

Jared Ford has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2005, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Inmarsat Government. Jared then moved on to the United Nations in 2006, where they served as a Research Assistant in the Department of Economic & Social Affairs. During the same year, they also had the opportunity to intern for SENATOR Patrick Leahy at the United States Senate. In 2011, Jared worked as a Peace Technology Advisor (Consultant) at the United States Institute of Peace. In 2014, they joined the District of Columbia Board of Elections as a Data Team Lead (Consultant). From 2007 to 2020, Jared worked at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in various roles, including Senior Program Officer, Senior Manager, and Senior Advisor. In 2020, they became a Senior Advisor at USAID, where they worked until 2022. Currently, Jared Ford is the Director of the Technology and Democracy Team at the International Republican Institute.

Jared Ford holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Amherst College. Jared also obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree from the American University School of International Service. Additionally, they have a Certification for Contracting Officer's Representatives Level II (FAC-COR) from the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI), which they obtained in February 2021.
