Amal Chamoun is currently serving as the Global Senior Procurement Manager for Medical, NFI, and WASH Categories at the International Rescue Committee, starting in March 2023. In this role, Amal supports the Syria/Turkey earthquake response by ensuring compliance with ERPP policies throughout the supply chain and enhancing the quality assurance of medical procurement. Previously, Amal worked as a Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Consultant with the International Rescue Committee from April 2022 to November 2022, where significant projects included developing GSDP assessment tools for medical warehouses globally. Amal's extensive experience with Médecins Sans Frontières includes various roles such as Operations and Supply Chain Coordinator and Intersectional Procurement/Deputy Supply Chain Coordinator from 2015 to 2022, along with responsibilities in pharmacy management and logistics. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from Lebanese International University and certificates in Shipping and Logistics from ESA Business School and EM Normandie Business School.
