Dariusz Zietek

Dariusz Z. is an accomplished international development professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Country Director for the International Rescue Committee since August 2024, Dariusz has previously held similar positions at Acción contra el Hambre and Save the Children International, where responsibilities included overseeing country operations and emergency response initiatives. Dariusz's earlier career includes significant roles at Terre des hommes foundation as Country Representative and at Open Society Foundations in executive capacities. Additional experience includes work with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the International Committee of the Red Cross. Dariusz holds a Master of Science in European Political Economy of Transition from The London School of Economics and Political Science, alongside several certificates in organizational change and leadership from prestigious institutions.
