Darren Hertz

Country Director, Asia at International Rescue Committee

Darren Hertz is the current Country Director for Asia at the International Rescue Committee. Prior to this, they were the Strategic Planning Facilitator for Concern Worldwide and the Deputy Director of Programs for the International Rescue Committee. Darren has also worked as a Consultant for Girls Education Project Baseline and Mid term evaluation analysis, Lead Evaluator for the LEGACY Community Driven Education Program, and as a Consultant for Disaster Recovery and Risk Reduction for the United Nations Development Programme & International Recovery Platform.

Darren Hertz holds a Master of Education from the Center for International Education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Valparaiso University.
