Infection Prevention And Control Specialist (global) at International Rescue Committee

Flaviour Nhawu is an experienced public health professional with a focus on infection prevention and control. Currently serving as an Infection Prevention and Control Specialist at the International Rescue Committee since May 2019, Flaviour has also held key roles as Senior Team Leader and Public Health Specialist within a consortium. Previous experience includes positions as a Public Health Specialist and Area Manager at Medici con l'Africa Cuamm, and various infection prevention and control roles at GOAL Global. Flaviour's career in healthcare began with a series of registered nurse positions at various hospitals in Zimbabwe from 2007 to 2014. Flaviour holds a Master's degree in Global Health from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and a nursing diploma from Mpilo School of Nursing.
