Hans V.

Hans V. has over two decades of experience in leadership roles within humanitarian and development organizations. Currently serving as Interim Senior Vice President for Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration at the International Rescue Committee since March 2012, Hans V. has held various senior positions including Vice President and Executive Director roles. Between 2017 and 2018, Hans V. chaired the Refugee Council USA and has been a board member of the Nuhanovic Foundation from 2011 to 2016. Previous experience includes senior leadership positions at Médecins Sans Frontières, where Hans V. served as General Director and Deputy Director, among other roles. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master's in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
