Joan Wuya MCIPM HRLP, CMC, FIMC is a seasoned professional in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as the People & Culture Senior Coordinator at the International Rescue Committee since February 2013. In this role, Joan provides technical support for human resource business and partnerships, focusing on capacity building for the IRC Nigeria Human Resources Unit, and acts as the Gender, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Focal Point and Master Trainer. Joan leads the implementation of safeguarding activities across multiple field offices and oversees the annual learning and development process. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Human Resources Manager and Program Officer at various organizations. Joan holds a Master's in Law & Diplomacy and has completed multiple certifications, including in Human Resource Management and Leadership. Ongoing education includes participation at the Atlas Corps Virtual Leadership Institute and leadership programs at the University of Oxford.
