Juan Garcia Urrutia

Juan Garcia Urrutia is a Senior Legal Representative at the International Rescue Committee since September 2021, where responsibilities include providing immigration legal services to refugee and immigrant communities in the LA area, collaborating with DOJ Accredited staff and immigration attorneys. Previous experience includes serving as Lead Mentor at Improve Your Tomorrow, where Urrutia launched a college completion program for young men of color, and various roles at the University of California, Davis, including Student Supervisor for summer programs, Peer Advising Counselor, and Student Advisor. Urrutia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science-Public Service and Linguistics from the University of California, Davis.
