Monika Aktar

Monika Aktar is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Manager specializing in Employee Relations and Talent Development at the International Rescue Committee since October 2020. Monika has held various positions within the organization, including Acting HR Lead and Human Resources Manager for Employee Relations and Training & Development, as well as a short-term transfer to support the IRC Libya country program. Prior to this, Monika worked as a Strategic HR Partner at BRAC IT and held multiple HR roles at JITA Bangladesh from March 2015 to March 2020. Monika's educational background includes an MBA in Human Resources Management from Southeast University, an ACMP from the University of Dhaka, a Post Graduation Diploma in Human Resources Management from United International University, and a Bachelor’s of Law and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from different universities in Bangladesh.
