Naoko Kozuki

Co-research Director, Equal Research Consortium at International Rescue Committee

Naoko Kozuki, PhD, serves as the Co-Research Director for the EQUAL Research Consortium at the International Rescue Committee, focusing on effective maternal and newborn health care in conflict-affected countries since July 2016. With extensive experience in health research, Naoko has held various leadership roles including Director of Research and Innovation in Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, and Neonatal Health, and has contributed significantly as a principal investigator and co-investigator on child health and nutrition research in humanitarian contexts. Previously, Naoko worked as a Research Investigator at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, conducting studies on obstetric risk factors, and has also held positions in monitoring and evaluation at Save the Children. Naoko earned a PhD in International Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, complemented by a robust educational background including a BA from Yale University.
