Rachel French

Rachel French serves as the Associate General Counsel and Europe Legal & Privacy Lead for the International Rescue Committee since August 2019, responsible for establishing the European legal function and advising on a wide range of legal matters. Prior to this role, Rachel was the General Counsel and Head of Human Resources at Amatheon Agri Holding N.V., overseeing legal and HR functions for a multinational company. Rachel's earlier positions include Assistant Director at AusAID and Senior Policy Officer at the Australian Government Department of Agriculture. Rachel holds a Master of Laws in International Law, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and German, all from The Australian National University.
