Sarah Kleinman

Sarah Kleinman currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at the International Rescue Committee, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this, Sarah Kleinman was a Partner at McKinsey & Company for nearly a decade and held the role of Deputy Chief Program Officer and Director of Program Strategy at the Obama Foundation for part of 2017. With a diverse background in program development, Sarah Kleinman co-founded Global Fitness Apps, specializing in fitness applications. Sarah Kleinman earned both a DPhil and MPhil in International Relations from the University of Oxford, where research focused on organizational behavior within international non-governmental organizations. Additional experience includes roles at the International Center for Transitional Justice, The Carter Center, and serving as a Rhodes Scholar. Educational achievements also include a Master's in Sociology and a Bachelor's in History from Stanford University.
