Ajay Kohli

Ajay Kohli currently serves as the Interim Director General at the International Rice Research Institute. Prior to this, Ajay held various titles within the company, including Research Director and Acting Research Director & Platform Leader - Strategic Innovation. Ajay also has experience as a University Fellow at the University of Newcastle-Institute for Research on Environment and Sustainability, where Ajay led the Molecular Agriculture section. Ajay holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of East Anglia, and a M.Tech in Applied Biology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
