Bas Bouman

Bas Bouman is a Principal Scientist at IRRI, where Bas leads the Sustainable Impact Department. Bas has also held titles such as Senior Scientist, Research Director, and Program Leader within the field of rice research and water management. Bouman has extensive experience in various research programs and has served on the CGIAR Consortium Board. Bas holds a PhD in Agriculture and an MSc in Agricultural Engineering from Wageningen University & Research.
