Ranjitha Puskur is a Principal Scientist at the International Rice Research Institute, where strategic leadership is provided to enhance gender research and its integration within IRRI programs. As a Module Leader for the CGIAR GENDER Platform, Ranjitha continues to influence gender-focused initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at WorldFish, where design and implementation of global scaling pathways for agricultural development were facilitated, and as Team Leader for Innovation in Livestock Systems at ILRI, focusing on integrating innovation systems into research agendas. Ranjitha's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Policy of Technical Change from UNU-MERIT, a Diploma in Agricultural Research for Development from ICRA, dual PhDs and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, and a Bachelor of Commerce from St Ann's Degree College for Women.
