Dimitri Bennett

Dimitri Bennett, MD, MPH, FISPE, is a seasoned expert in epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology, currently serving as Senior Director in the Global Evidence and Outcomes Group at Takeda since September 2014. With extensive experience in designing observational Real World Evidence studies, Dimitri has played a key role in fulfilling post-marketing commitments and supporting safety signal evaluations. Previous positions include Director of Epidemiology for GI and CVD/Met at Takeda, and extensive leadership roles at GlaxoSmithKline, focusing on global epidemiologic strategies across various therapeutic areas. Dimitri is a Fellow of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology and has held academic roles at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine since 2005. Academic qualifications include an MD from Donetsk State Medical University and an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
