Kate King

Director, Global Travel Partnerships at International SOS

Kate King has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Kate first started as a Teaching Assistant at Ryerson University from 2007 to 2008. Kate then worked as a Stylist for Dress for Success Toronto from 2011 to 2015. In 2010, Kate served as an Event Manager for Art of Fashion, planning and organizing a fashion show event. From 2012 to 2018, they held various positions at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG™), including Key Account Director, New Business Development Team Manager, New Business Development Director, and Regional Sales Director - Midwestern Canada. At IHG™, they also took on the role of Conference Planner for IHG's annual Sales Leadership Conference in 2012. In 2018, Kate joined International SOS as an Account Management Lead. Currently, they are also serving as the Canada Risk Committee Chair at GBTA | Global Business Travel Association, starting from 2021.

Kate King has completed the Emotional Intelligence Program at Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Kate also participated in a Student Exchange Program in Hospitality & Tourism Management at RMIT University. Additionally, they earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Toronto Metropolitan University.
