Melanie Wright

Melanie Wright currently serves as a Development Associate at the International Spy Museum since October 2021, having previously held the role of Development Assistant. Prior experience includes working as a Guest Services Associate at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and as a Box Office Assistant at Samford University, where responsibilities included assisting patrons with purchases and inquiries. Notable internships include positions at the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum, Sloss Furnaces, Benjamin Franklin House, and the LAURA INGALLS WILDER MEMORIAL SOCIETY INCORPORATED, where Melanie gained experience in individual giving, tour guiding, research, and customer service. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Samford University and participated in an Academic Internship Program focused on Nonprofit Leadership and Management through The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.
