Mike Davisson

Mike Davisson's work experience includes:

- From December 2012 to present, they served as the Managing Director of Informatics at I-TECH University of Washington. In this role, they are responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Electronic Medical Records and Laboratory Information Systems in Kenya, Haiti, and Cote d'Ivoire. Mike has adopted open source solutions and established development teams in each country for ongoing maintenance and operations.

- From April 2003 to present, they worked as the Informatics Office Director for the Epidemiology Health Statistics and Public Health Laboratory at the State of Washington Department of Health. Their responsibilities included acquisition, development, operations, and maintenance of various disease surveillance systems, emergency preparedness systems, data reporting systems, laboratory information systems, and vital statistics registry systems for Washington State.

- In January 2016, they briefly served as a Program Manager at the State of Washington DSHS.

- From September 1989 to April 2003, they were the Electronic Surveillance Program Manager at the NYS Department of Health. Mike was responsible for drafting Request for Proposal, project management, and overall operations of the Electronic Clinical Laboratory Reporting System in New York State. This system utilized LOINC/SNOMED and HL-7 v2.5.

Mike Davisson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Notre Dame between the years 1974 and 1978.
