Brianna Bibel is a Visiting Professor of Biochemistry at Saint Mary's College of California since July 2023, responsible for teaching upper-division biochemistry courses. Brianna has been actively involved with the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) since May 2019, initially serving as a Student Ambassador, later transitioning to a Trainee Ambassador, and becoming a Founding Member of the IUBMB Trainee Initiative, focusing on engagement and resources for students and postdoctoral researchers. Brianna's previous experience includes postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco, and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, where a PhD was obtained in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Additionally, Brianna has contributed to science communication as a Science Writer for Massive Science Inc. and has held leadership roles promoting women in STEM through social media outreach. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California and a PhD from Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
