Most recently, Patrick served as the Chief Technology Officer at Internet 2.0, where they oversaw the development and management of secured satellite internet services. Patrick achieved a 400% growth rate and implemented a security system that reduced wasted bandwidth and improved overall security.
Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Director and Cybersecurity Author at WithYouWithMe, where they played a key role in setting up the Papua New Guinea National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and provided training to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Patrick also consulted for the Washington Post in establishing their Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC).
Before joining WithYouWithMe, Patrick worked at Special Operations Solutions, focusing on IT and cyber security for airborne platforms and ground networks. Patrick conducted troubleshooting and repair to ensure mission readiness during sorties.
Additionally, Patrick founded Wardog Studios, where they developed a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) and formed partnerships with major companies in the gaming industry. Patrick also negotiated a deal with EMI to create a streaming music jukebox system.
Earlier in their career, Patrick held various roles in companies such as Integrits Corporation, EDS, Bay State, and WFI Government Services, where they gained experience in information assurance, risk management, and enterprise architecture.
Patrick began their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Senior Petty Officer, overseeing the Aegis Computer/Display Suite and managing the LAN system on the USS Milius.

Patrick Hamilton earned a Master of Science degree in Network Security from Capitol Technology University, where they attended from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from National University.
In addition to their formal education, Patrick obtained several certifications throughout their career. Patrick completed a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in December 2019. Patrick also holds the Navy Certified Agent certification from SPAWAR, which they obtained in October 2009. Furthermore, Patrick has multiple certifications related to information assurance and security, including CNSSI 4012, CNSSI 4013(A), CNSSI 4014(A), NSTISSI 4011, NSTISSI 4015, and CISSP. These certifications were obtained from Capitol College and (ISC)², with completion dates ranging from May 2005 to June 2004.
