Sophia Meyer

Sophia Meyer is a Principal Scientist at Intero Biosystems since June 2025, following experience as a Project Manager and Consultant at miLEAD Consulting from March 2022 to July 2025. Prior to that, Sophia was a Doctoral Student at the University of Michigan from August 2020 to July 2025, focusing on using microscopy-based methods to investigate drug-induced injury mechanisms in liver and intestinal barriers. Sophia also served as a PSTP Trainee at the Purdue University Center for Drug Discovery from July 2018 to January 2022 and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University from January 2018 to January 2022. Sophia holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Purdue University.
