Lindsay Garascia serves as the Internship Program Manager at Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services (MiHIN) since November 2022. Previously, Lindsay held the position of Volunteer and Intern Supervisor/First Response Advocate at HAVEN Oakland County from March 2016 to November 2022, where responsibilities included the hiring and training of 48 volunteers and interns, leading to a 200% increase in participation. Lindsay authored and conducted over 15 training sessions for various stakeholders and led a Coordinated Community Response Team focused on systemic reforms for survivors of intimate partner violence. As a First Response Court Advocate, Lindsay managed a high caseload while attending court proceedings across Oakland County and ensuring compliance with deadlines. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish from Central Michigan University.
