Tristan Wright

Tristan Wright is an experienced sign language interpreter with a background in various roles within the interpreting field, currently serving as a Video Remote Interpreter at Interpretek and a VRS Interpreter at Sorenson Communications since 2022. With a freelance career in American Sign Language interpretation beginning in 2014, Tristan has also worked as a Sign Language Interpreter at City Colleges of Chicago and Sign Language Connection Inc. Previous roles include office administration and student interpreting at Rochester Institute of Technology, alongside leadership positions in student governance. Tristan holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy with a focus on Disability Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in ASL-English Interpretation and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Theatre and French from the University at Buffalo.
