Merrill Holden is a seasoned professional in business development with extensive experience in economic development initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Business Development at Intersect Illinois since July 2021, Merrill collaborates with state and local partners to drive business attraction efforts that generate new jobs and investments in Illinois. Prior to this role, Merrill held the position of Business Development Manager, where responsibilities included managing various business attraction projects and strengthening relationships for streamlined site selection processes. Merrill's background also includes experience as a Project Manager at the Ames Chamber of Commerce, focusing on economic development programs, and a successful career as an International Professional Athlete, leading multiple basketball organizations worldwide.
