Nicholas Willey Pe

Nicholas Willey, PE, is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in civil and structural engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Development Engineering at Intersect Power, Nicholas leads a dynamic team managing utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the U.S., with a minimum project size of 300MWac. Previously, at TRC Companies, Inc., Nicholas held roles as Senior Civil/Structural Engineer and Project Engineer, focusing on solar development projects totaling 325MWac. Earlier career experiences include working as a Structural Engineer at HNTB, where responsibilities encompassed design calculations and project management for transportation infrastructure, as well as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center, where Nicholas contributed to the feasibility study of cross-laminated timber designs. Nicholas holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine.
