Eric Mbotiji

Eric Mbotiji serves as the Deputy Safety Advisor at the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) since January 2023, where responsibilities include supporting the Safety Advisor and Deputy Director by providing contextual inputs for reports and assessments, liaising with various stakeholders, and monitoring local media. Previously, Eric held positions as Interim Safety Advisor and Regional Access and Security Officer at INTERSOS, focusing on establishing information networks and facilitating safety coordination. Other notable experiences include an internship at the United Nations System Staff College, leading protection monitoring teams at INTERSOS, and roles in youth advocacy and education. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Ports and Shipping Management from the University of Douala and is pursuing a Master's in Reconciliation and Peacebuilding at the University of Winchester.
