Christer Engblom

Christer Engblom is a highly experienced Sr. Embedded Engineer at Interstellar Lab since December 2023, with a robust background in electronics and embedded systems. From September 2012 to November 2023, Christer held various roles at Synchrotron SOLEIL, including specializing in mechatronics and embedded systems within an engineering support group and contributing to a French-Swedish R&D project for 3D-nano-scanning prototypes. Prior to this, Christer completed a Master Thesis Project on the control implementation of a Stewart robot platform, and gained early experience as a Web Developer and Java test-case developer at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication. Additionally, Christer completed national service with the Swedish Armed Forces, reaching the rank of sergeant. Educated at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, Christer earned a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from 2004 to 2013.
