Abdulqadir Olowolagba

Abdulqadir Olowolagba began their work experience in 2018 at Wema Bank Plc. Abdulqadir first worked as a Banker-In-Training from November 2018 to February 2019. During this time, they gained knowledge and skills in the banking sector. From March 2019 to July 2019, Abdulqadir served as a System Administrator at Wema Bank Plc. In this role, they were responsible for administering servers, computers, printers, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates, and patches. Abdulqadir also supported LANs, WANs, network segments, internet, and intranet systems. From February 2019 to February 2022, Abdulqadir held the position of E-Channels Support Officer at Wema Bank Plc. Their responsibilities included managing and administering the bank's Front-End Processor (Postilion) to ensure high availability, optimizing the Postilion office environment for increased capacity and performance, and ensuring servers replication to the disaster recovery site were up-to-date and highly available. In November 2022, Abdulqadir joined Interswitch Group as the Head of Application Implementation.

Abdulqadir Olowolagba completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University between 2012 and 2017. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) from 2020 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Abdulqadir Olowolagba has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Abdulqadir completed a certificate course in Technical Support Fundamentals and System Administration and IT Infrastructure Services from Coursera in 2018. Abdulqadir also earned a Certificate of Continuing Education Completion in CompTIA A+ from Cybrary in 2018.

Abdulqadir Olowolagba further expanded their knowledge and expertise by achieving various certifications in recent years. Abdulqadir obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services in January 2022 and became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate in December 2021.

Additionally, Abdulqadir Olowolagba completed several specialization courses, such as Google Project Management and Digital Transformation in Financial Services, on Coursera between 2020 and 2021. Abdulqadir also acquired a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in November 2022 and a Project Management Skills for Leaders certification from LinkedIn in June 2023.

Furthermore, Abdulqadir Olowolagba is a Graduate Member of The Nigerian Society of Engineers, which they obtained in July 2019. Abdulqadir also received the NSE 1 Network Security Associate certification from the FORTINET NSE Institute in August 2020.
