Abubakar Adamu Sodiq

Abubakar Adamu Sodiq is a software engineer who currently works at Interswitch Group since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a software developer at CoralPay Technology (Nig) Limited from October 2021 to February 2022, where they were involved in tasks such as working as part of the Java Developer Team, implementing a Merchant Onboarding Restful web-service, and integrating various billers to CoralPay VAS platform.

Before that, Sodiq worked at Neptune Software Group from July 2019 to October 2021 as a software developer, where they collaborated with other software developers to build new features and support existing ones. Abubakar also created Soap & Restful web services for bank clients and implemented OTP for banking transfer services on Amju Internet Banking. During their time at Neptune Software Group, Sodiq also served as an NYSC intern from September 2018 to July 2019.

Additionally, Sodiq has experience as an IT consultant at Marblebrand Hotel in February 2018, where they managed the hotel's Wi-Fi and internet activities, monitored and managed the website for online payment, and designed graphics for flyers and banners for weekly events. Abubakar also completed an internship at NIIT Technologies from July 2016 to December 2016.

Sodiq began their career in 2012 as a cafe attendant at Halonet Computer Service and later became a student at A-Klass Computer School from July 2011 to January 2012.

In 2014, Abubakar Adamu Sodiq enrolled at Bayero University, Kano, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Abubakar successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2018. Additionally, in April 2022, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com.
