Victor Aku

Victor Aku has work experience in the field of technology and data management. Victor worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Interswitch Group, where they maintained high availability for critical servers and services, configured new applications and deployments using Kubernetes and Chef, and resolved customer-reported issues. Victor also worked as an Application and Transaction Monitoring/Support Engineer at Interswitch Nigeria, where they supported uptime of the switching platform, monitored transaction success rates, resolved technical issues, and ensured system availability. Prior to that, they worked at CITzar Limited as a Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Administrator/DBA, where they implemented enterprise Data Warehouse and Performance Management solutions, managed data extraction and transformation activities, and developed data models and quality metrics.

Victor Aku attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a B.sc degree in Computer Science. In addition to their degree, they have also acquired several certifications throughout their career. In June 2009, Victor became a Certified Business Intelligence Administrator (BI) through IBM. Victor also obtained the Certified Professional Report Author certification from IBM during the same month and year. Furthermore, in December 2016, Victor achieved the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com.
