We are on a mission to help people and we know the work we do changes their lives. If there is a better way, we will create it. So, if our mission speaks to you, join us!

Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare? We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Leader to join our dynamic Healthcare Operations team and drive the strategy and operations as we build out our innovative virtual healthcare services. As the VP, Virtual Practice Administration, you will create and drive the strategic direction, own operational management, and play a key role in the overall success of this new endeavor for Interwell Health. You'll mentor a talented team, fostering a collaborative culture while enhancing patient care through cutting-edge technology and continuous improvement initiatives. Other key responsibilities include establishing and monitoring KPIs, implementing quality assurance programs, and championing a patient-centric approach to virtual healthcare. This high visibility, impactful position reports to the SVP, Healthcare Operations, and requires a visionary leader with a strong background in healthcare management, telehealth, and digital health innovation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the virtual physician practice, identifying growth opportunities and driving initiatives to expand virtual healthcare services while collaborating with executive leadership to ensure alignment on virtual practice goals and the company's overall mission/objectives.
  • Operational and Financial Oversight: Oversee daily operations and financial management of the virtual physician practice, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost-effectiveness, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth, while implementing optimized workflows and monitoring financial performance.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including advance practice providers (APPs) and medical assistants (MAs), fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture focused on performance engagement and career growth.
  • Quality and Performance Improvement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the virtual practice, implementing quality assurance programs to continuously improve patient care and satisfaction, and addressing any operational issues promptly by developing solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Patient Experience: Champion a patient-centric approach to virtual healthcare delivery, ensuring a seamless and positive experience by gathering and acting on patient feedback to enhance service quality.
  • Technology and Innovation: Collaborate with IT and product development teams to integrate cutting-edge solutions into the virtual practice, evaluating and adopting new technologies to improve efficiency and patient care.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare management including at least 5 years in a leadership role, with proven experience overseeing an interdisciplinary team.
  • Proven track record of success in telehealth or virtual healthcare services is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Technical proficiency in telehealth platforms and healthcare IT systems.
  • Clinical Licensure (RN, RD, SW, APP) or a related advanced degree is preferred.

Our mission is to reinvent healthcare to help patients live their best lives, and we proudly live our mission-driven values:

- We care deeply about the people we serve.
- We are better when we work together.
- Humility is a source of our strength.
- We bring joy to our work.
- We deliver on our promises.

We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our recruiting practices. Everyone is welcome and included. We value our differences and learn from each other. Our team members come in all shapes, colors, and sizes. No matter how you identify your lifestyle, creed, or fandom, we value everyone's unique journey.

Oh, and one more thing … a recent study shows that men apply for a job or promotion when they meet only 60% of the qualifications, but women and other marginalized groups apply only if they meet 100% of them. So, if you think you’d be a great fit, but don’t necessarily meet every single requirement on one of our job openings, please still apply. We’d love to consider your application!
