At interworks.cloud, we are looking for a Software Engineer in Test with a curious testing mentality who loves detecting system gaps and is eager to streamline our product development via the power of automation testing. You will work on our multi-tenant B2B cloud commerce platform with the ultimate goal of creating robust and scalable test automation solutions.

Your team

You will join a big team of Software Engineers in Test (currently around 15) that focuses exclusively on automation testing. You will be working as an active member of our scrum teams, being the trusted person who understands our business and adds the testing perspective to our product.

Your role & responsibilities

• Understand our business and decide on priorities, importance, and implementation of test automation needs.

• Cooperate with Software Engineers and Business Analysts to identify business and technical requirements.

• Understand & review business requirements and technical specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Apply testing processes for new and existing features of our platform in a cross-functional agile team (we follow scrum).

• Be responsible for test planning, test case management, and test execution (we use Azure Test Plans).

• Design and develop our test automation framework, as well as create and execute a variety of automation tests (both integration and UI).

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure the high quality of our platform and public API.

• Run & Review smoke, functional, and regression testing.

• Contribute to performance and security.

• Build and maintain Pipelines to apply CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.

• Actively work on expanding our test coverage.

• Identify, document thoroughly, and track software bugs.

• Track quality assurance metrics and help the team improve and perform better.

• Have a curious mind with an attention to detecting and improving software gaps, failures, and faults.

• Stay up to date with new test strategies and testing tools.

Our ideal candidate

• 3+ years of working experience in automation testing on software applications (preferably web).

• Proven experience in test suites such as Selenium WebDriver, BDD frameworks like Cucumber and SpecFLow, TestNG, REST-assured, or any other equivalent.

• Experience developing test automation frameworks.

• Experience in an object-oriented language like C# or Java (we use C#).

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Good knowledge of Web design, and UI aspects.

• You are a self-starter, good at identifying roadblocks and raising difficult issues.

• You can work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or any related field.

• You are fluent in the Greek and English language both oral and written.
