Koen Heyns

Koen Heyns has worked in the IT industry since 2004, starting with a role as Project Manager at Hooox. Koen then moved to CVWarehouse.com in 2006 as IT Manager, where they were responsible for IT operations and development, as well as product roadmap and release planning. In 2010, Heyns became Project Manager Dotcom Europe at Bose Corporation. In 2011, they joined Argenta as ICT Domain Manager - Credits, and then in 2013 as Director IT - Change Customer. In 2019, Heyns began working as Head of Product & Engineering at intigriti, and also as Company Owner at Bytesize.

Koen Heyns started their educational journey at Sint Gabrielcollege, where they obtained a Latin - Mathematics 6 degree from 1993 to 1999. Koen then moved on to Howest to pursue a Bachelor of New Media & Communication Technology, specializing in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia, which they completed in 2003. Koen continued their studies at KU Leuven, where they earned a Master in eMedia Engineering in 2004, focusing on Interactive 3D. In 2019, Heyns returned to Antwerp Management School to obtain a Master Class in Digital Transformation: Strategy & Leadership. Koen then completed a Masterclass Business Design Thinking in 2020, specializing in Business Design, followed by a Masterclass Innovatieve Arbeidsorganisatie in 2022. Heyns also holds certifications in ITILv3, obtained in April 2012, and Prince2 Foundation, obtained in March 2011.
