Peter Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning from 1996 to 2023. Peter has held various roles in different companies.

At INTO University Partnerships, Peter started as a Business Analyst in 2011 and eventually became the VP of Data Analytics, Market Research, and Insights in 2016. In these roles, they led teams responsible for delivering market insights, research, and analytical expertise. Peter played a crucial role in developing data-led strategies for international student growth, conducting large-scale surveys, and enhancing business intelligence capabilities.

Prior to that, Peter worked at City & Guilds as a Senior Insights and BI Manager, where they led a team responsible for market analysis, proposition design, and business model strategies. Peter also worked on horizon-scanning models and customer segmentation.

Before joining City & Guilds, Peter worked as an Economic Development Consultant at Consulting Inplace Ltd. Peter'srole involved delivering impact evaluations, socio-economic research, and analysis for various clients.

Peter also had experience working at Arun District Council as an Economic Development Officer, where they managed research and communication activities for a regeneration program.

In their early career, Peter worked at Lloyds TSB Registrars as an IT Systems Analyst Developer, responsible for re-engineering customer-facing business functionality and developing web-based services.

Currently, Peter is serving as a Board Trustee at INTO Giving since 2023.

Peter Thompson attended UWC South East Asia from 1989 to 1994. Peter then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Politics from the University of the West of England between 2002 and 2005. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Global Political Economy at the University of Sussex from 2005 to 2006.
