Priscilla W. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the legal and educational sectors. Currently serving as a ULaw Programme Approval Member, Widening Participation Mentor, and BAME Advocate at The University of Law since December 2020, Priscilla also works as a Law School Ambassador and is a Final Year Law Student at the University of Southampton, where education was pursued from 2017 to 2020. Additional roles include participation in the Advance Programme at the University of Southampton and internships as a Legal Intern at Garden Court Chambers since 2019. Priscilla has also contributed as a General Sales Assistant at Matalan and as a Mentor with IntoUniversity since November 2018.
IntoUniversity
IntoUniversity is an award-winning charity that runs local learning centres which provide an education programme to support young people facing disadvantage in achieving their chosen aspiration. We target children and young people most at risk of failing to meet their potential to go to university due to economic, social, cultural, or linguistic disadvantage. IntoUniversity provides practical learning support and motivational and confidence-building activities for children and young people aged 7-18. We currently have 44 centres across England and Scotland. IntoUniversity is an on-going and long-term service: at the heart of the programme is the belief that underachievement is best addressed in the context of a long-term pastoral engagement with young people where we can build their esteem and support their learning in order that they can reach their potential.
