Mathieu Contant

Mathieu Contant is a seasoned professional in product design and development, currently serving as a Mentor at Université de Montréal since September 2024. Prior experience includes significant roles at Kamik Canada Inc. from August 2018 to June 2025, where Mathieu held the positions of Director of Product Development and Head Designer. Mathieu contributed to the field as a Senior Product Designer and Developer at Merrell - Wolverine World Wide from November 2010 to August 2018, and as a Product Designer at Bauer Hockey, Inc. from February 2003 to November 2010. Early career experiences include consulting as an Industrial Designer at Periphere furniture and serving as an intern in Industrial Design at Groupe Lacasse Inc. Mathieu's academic background includes an M.Sc.A in Project Management from HEC Montréal and a Bachelor's in Industrial Design from Université de Montréal, supplemented by an exchange program at Queensland University of Technology.
