Michael Tzanoglos

Michael Tzanoglos has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies in the technology industry. Michael began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at SYMA LTD in 1986 and worked there until 1989. Michael then joined ERGON S.A. as a Software Engineer for a brief period from July 1990 to September 1990. In 1991, they joined INTRASOFT as a Software Engineer and stayed with the company until 1996.

In 1997, Tzanoglos joined Intralot, where they held various roles. Initially, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, managing the Back Office and Accounting Applications Team. Michael also took on additional responsibilities as a Business Analysis & Requirements Manager and Quality Manager during their tenure. Tzanoglos completed significant projects for OPAP S. during this time.

From 2004 to 2014, they served as the Director of Technical Project Management & Support at Intralot. In this role, they oversaw numerous medium and large-scale projects simultaneously, establishing and supervising a Technical PMO. Michael was also responsible for the operations of the Learning Centre.

Afterward, Tzanoglos held the position of Director of Key Accounts Technical Operations Services at Intralot. Michael reported directly to the Group CTO and managed the technical operations of OPAP & Hellenic Lotteries. Michael provided technical project management and served as a member of the Steering Committee of OPAP S.A.

Tzanoglos also worked as a Program Project Management Consultant as a self-employed individual from 2015 to 2020. During this time, they provided consultancy services in program and project management.

In 2017, Tzanoglos joined PLANET S.A. as a Manager and remained with the company until 2020.

Since December 2020, Tzanoglos has been employed at Intralot as the Vice President of Technology Governance. Michael previously held the roles of VP of Technology Delivery Management and VP of Technology Governance & Services.

Throughout their career, Tzanoglos has demonstrated expertise in technology governance, project management, technical operations, and software engineering.

Michael Tzanoglos obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Systems Software Engineering from the Greek Productivity Center (ELKEPA) in 1990-1991. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they completed in 1988.
