Amanda Neiman serves as the Director of Operations for North America at Intrepid Travel, managing operations across the USA and Canada and leading a team that showcases a strong commitment to guest experiences, handling over 40,000 guests annually. Previously, Amanda held several roles at REI, including Operations Manager and Gear Tester, and gained extensive guiding experience as a Senior Multi-day Guide and Professional Guide for various outdoor adventure companies. Amanda's expertise in operations also extends to customer service roles at Pivot Cycles and educational outreach as a Traveling Trainer for the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. With a Master of Arts in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics & Art History from the University of Arizona, Amanda combines a robust educational background with a wealth of practical experience in outdoor adventure and travel operations.
