Doyle Siever

Vice President, Intellectual Property Counsel at Intrexon Corporation

Doyle Siever has extensive work experience in intellectual property law. Doyle started their career at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine as a Research Technician from 1988 to 1990. Doyle then pursued a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Duke University's Department of Cell and Molecular Biology from 1996 to 1999. Following this, Doyle worked as an Attorney/Patent Agent at Human Genome Sciences Inc from 1999 to 2007. Doyle then joined Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox as an Associate Attorney from 2006 to 2011, where they specialized in filing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications. In 2011, Doyle transitioned to Intrexon Corporation as an Intellectual Property Attorney, responsible for managing and building the company's intellectual property portfolio. Doyle eventually became the Vice President of Intellectual Property Counsel. Additionally, they held the position of VP Intellectual Property at INTREXON-PRECIGEN, INC. from 2011 to 2022. Doyle has expertise in negotiating, drafting, and interpreting corporate contracts and agreements in addition to their patent, trademark, and trade secret work.

Doyle Siever earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology & Immunology from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine from 1990 to 1996. Later, Doyle pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Georgetown University Law Center, which was completed between 2000 and 2004.
