Anjali Rao

Anjali Rao's work experience includes a role as a Robotics Engineer at Intrinsic since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Robotics Engineer at Vicarious AI from April 2017 to August 2022. Before Vicarious AI, Anjali worked at Symbio Robotics as a Robotics Engineer from September 2016 to April 2017. Anjali also gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Interacting Robotic Systems Laboratory at SUNY Stony Brook University from August 2014 to August 2016, where they focused on robotic learning from demonstration. Anjali also worked as a Graduate Research Intern at Brookhaven National Laboratory in July-August 2015, where they developed a novel concept for a robotic gripper and engineered Acoustic Two-component Library assembly system plates. Additionally, they worked as a Physics Instructor for a summer workshop at Stony Brook University in June-August 2015. Anjali started their career as a Design Engineer at Atlas Copco from October 2012 to June 2014.

Anjali Rao earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Anjali completed their undergraduate studies from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stony Brook University from 2014 to 2016.
