Filippos Sotiropoulos is currently a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at Intrinsic. Previously, Filippos worked as a Computer Vision / AI Lead at Xihelm, leading a team in developing models for robot perception and manipulation. Prior to that, Filippos was a Computer Vision Engineer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where research focused on robotic excavation. This experience was preceded by roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Bristol, a Research Intern at Dyson, and various internships at other companies. Filippos holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
