Nils Berg

Nils Berg has a diverse work experience with a strong focus on software engineering and robotics. Nils currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Intrinsic since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at X, the moonshot factory from December 2018 to July 2021. Nils also gained valuable experience as a Student Research Assistant at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik, where they developed software for autonomous service robots and contributed to establishing Continuous Integration and automated packaging. Nils completed their Master's Thesis on mission control of heterogeneous robot teams using Behavior Trees during their time at FZI. Nils has also worked as an Intern at Google in 2016 and as a Robot Software Engineer at Magazino GmbH in 2015, where they focused on high-level task planning, robot simulations, and code organization. Their career began as a Research Assistant at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik in 2011, where they worked on projects related to modular satellites and autonomous cars and service robots.

Nils Berg pursued their education at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From 2010 to 2014, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informatics. Following this, they continued their education at KIT and completed their studies from 2014 to 2018, specializing in Informatics.
