Aviv Ben Arie

Aviv Ben Arie has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Aviv currently serves as the Data Science Team Lead at Intuit since April 2022. Prior to this, Aviv held positions at PayPal, where they worked as the Lead Data Scientist from July 2018 to March 2020 and as a Data Scientist within the Counter Fraud Technologies team from June 2016 to June 2018. Aviv also worked as a Data Analyst at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel from November 2014 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, Aviv held the role of Technical Support Engineer and QA at MyHeritage from June 2010 to 2014, and served as an Intelligence Analyst in the Israel Defense Forces - Military Intelligence from November 2007 to April 2010.

Aviv Ben Arie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioinformatics (Computer Science & Biology) from Tel Aviv University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. They also attended The Hebrew University Secondary School from 2004 to 2007 and earned a high school degree with a focus on Biology, Arabic, and Math. In addition, Aviv has obtained certifications in various machine learning courses from Coursera, including "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" in 2018, and "Machine Learning" in 2017.
