Vyas Sarangapani

Vyas Sarangapani has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Intern at SmartMegh Solutions Pvt Ltd, where they contributed to the integration of middleware platforms and building an Android application for GPS tracking.

In 2016, Sarangapani joined Kaar Technologies as a Software Developer in the Centre of Excellence. Here, they developed APIs on Node.js, processed a high volume of requests on Cloud Foundry, and implemented several Proof of Concepts on in-memory databases for OLAP use cases until 2019.

After that, Sarangapani worked as an Independent Consultant - Lead Software Engineer & DevOps at Alt-Tab. Vyas was responsible for modernizing API gateways and Kubernetes to serve multiple microservices for Telstra in Australia. Additionally, they implemented API orchestration using the Camunda BPM Engine.

From 2020 to 2023, Sarangapani joined EY as a Technical Architect & DevOps Lead in the Government & Public Sector domain. Here, they played a crucial role in architecting a financial reconciliation engine for BCGov that saved analysts 20 hours per week. Vyas also implemented a DevOps strategy that elevated the team's DORA metrics from medium to elite performers. Furthermore, Sarangapani helped win contracts totaling $15 million for BCGov.

Currently, Sarangapani's most recent experience is as a Principal DevSecOps Engineer at Intuitive.Cloud, starting in 2023.

Vyas Sarangapani completed their high school education at AV Meiyappan Mat.Hr.Sec.school from 1998 to 2012. Vyas then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from Anna University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
