Boris Foelsch

Boris Foelsch is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and hardware development, primarily within the medical device sector. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Hardware Engineering at Intuitive Surgical since July 2004, Boris Foelsch has played a pivotal role in the advancement of the da Vinci Multiport product and has held several leadership positions within the company, contributing significantly to various iterations of the da Vinci system. Previous roles include Technical Lead at Nexray, Inc., and Director of Hardware Engineering at Vicom Systems, Inc., where Boris Foelsch delivered innovative solutions in imaging systems and storage networks, respectively. Boris Foelsch began a career in engineering after earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
